Do I need toothpaste for children?

Good dental care begins from a baby's first tooth appears, and their first tooth usually appear between 6 and 10 months. Following, all 20 baby teeth will usually arrive by the time your kid is three years old. Normally, the 32 permanent teeth start coming in at about 6 years replace the baby teeth.

As soon as teeth begin appearing above the gum line, it’s recommended that parents can start using a very light touch on the teeth and gums with the size of a grain of rice of toothpaste.

Brush twice a day:  in the morning and before bed at night.

From 4 years old, your kids might want to start helping to clean their own teeth (using a small pea-sized amount of toothpaste). Letting them hold the toothbrush with you will help them feel they are part of the action.
